Perfect November 25, 2008 Jennifer (MA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is PERFECT for SAT learning and prep! Really, this is exactly what my son needed. He is quite smart and test taking not to difficult for him, but sitting for SAT's is not easy! This game just enhances his security for sitting for this incredibly long test. The questions are tough but the game makes it fun to learn them. There are a million SAT prep guides available, but this game is the best I've seen. I have a daughter who sat for all her tests using just the SAT prep guides and did very well, but even she wishes this game were around two years ago for her to use. He and his buddies are "playing" this game during free time in school and so far I've had two parents ask me where to get the game for their sons as well. Hopefully we'll have some scholarships in our future! Either way, I know they will all have much more confidence sitting for the test in May.
Great for Adults who do Brain Games~ November 26, 2008 kindred spirit (God's Country) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I got this as a lightening deal, for a steal. Figured it could help increase my general knowledge. I was not wrong. It is a great brain game. Infact the most challenging I have so far. I couldn't stop playing it when it arrived yesterday.
I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to inprove math skills, reading, vocabulary, and critical thinking. It is not easy and it is not stupid characters any youth or adult will find it fun and challenging. I kind of amazed myself that I could do algebra as I was terrible at it in high school.
Great game and it was a great price.
Fun and Educational March 30, 2009 Lisa Meyer Great game for those not interested in studying from an SAT prep book. Perhaps it shouldn't replace SAT prep, but as a reinforcement it works well. It is actually fun.
Future U is a great learning tool! December 24, 2008 Candace (Illinois) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
FutureU is a great way to study for the college entrance exam. My daughter really loves the game aspect of it, but she is also learning quite a bit at the same time. The challenge is there for her. It is not an easy "game", it is a study guide, but my daughter feels like she won when she answers the questions correctly. She brings this on the train with her to school to get in the extra studying time needed. I would recommend FutureU to anyone trying to study for any type of standardized test.
Good general review November 28, 2008 Bibliophile (Missouri) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this game for my son who will take the SAT for the first time next month. He usually doesn't like doing "prep" work but this was "fun". The only "con" was that there wasn't enough material in this game. He finished all three components in one day. Is there another level?
